Gizlilik Politikası

Last updated: July 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BudgetMate (“the App”, “we”, “us”), developed by Muhammed Salih Karakaşlı / MSK-Software, handles information when you use the App.

BudgetMate is a personal finance tool for tracking income, expenses, accounts, and related budget data. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Summary

  • Your financial entries are stored primarily on your device.
  • Optional backup to Google Drive is under your control.
  • The App may show ads and offer in-app purchases.
  • We do not sell your personal financial records.

2. Information we process

2.1 Information you enter in the App

When you use BudgetMate, you may create content such as income and expense records, categories, accounts, transfers, notes, reminders, templates, and similar financial organization data.

This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose a backup or export feature. We do not operate a BudgetMate user account system that uploads your ledger to our own servers by default.

2.2 Optional Google Drive backup

If you enable Google Drive backup, backup files may be stored in your Google account according to Google’s terms and privacy policy. You control this connection from the App and from your Google account settings. We do not receive your Google password.

2.3 Device and advertising identifiers

BudgetMate may contain advertising. Advertising partners may collect device or other identifiers (for example advertising IDs) to show and measure ads. This processing is performed by those partners under their own privacy policies.

2.4 Purchase information

If you buy an in-app product, payment is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details. Purchase status may be available to the App so premium features can be unlocked.

2.5 Support communications

If you contact us by email, we receive the address and content you send so we can respond to your request.

3. How we use information

Information is used to:

  • Provide core budgeting and tracking features on your device
  • Enable optional backup, restore, and export features you choose
  • Process or unlock in-app purchases
  • Show ads (where enabled)
  • Respond to support requests
  • Improve stability and usability of the App

4. Sharing of information

We may share limited information only in these cases:

  • Service providers / platforms: Apple, Google (Play, Drive if enabled), and ad networks involved in running the App, backups, payments, or ads
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
  • Business transfer: if the App or related assets are transferred, information may move with them under appropriate protections

We do not sell your transaction history or contact list.

5. Data storage and security

Local App data remains on your device. You are responsible for protecting access to your device (for example screen lock or any App passcode you enable).

When data is sent over the internet (for example Google Drive backup or store communications), industry-standard transport protections may be used by those platforms. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

6. Data retention and deletion

Local data remains until you delete it in the App, clear App data, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling typically removes local App storage on that device.

Backup copies stored in Google Drive remain until you delete them from Drive. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and meet basic record-keeping needs.

7. Children’s privacy

BudgetMate is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through support channels, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. International users

The App may be used in different countries. Platform providers (Apple, Google, ad partners) may process data in other regions according to their policies and applicable law.

9. Your choices

  • Use the App without enabling Google Drive backup
  • Manage or delete Drive backups in your Google account
  • Limit ad tracking in your device settings where available
  • Delete local data or uninstall the App
  • Contact us about privacy questions

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
