Steep Odd

Privacy Policy

Gizlilik Politikası

Last updated: August 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Steep Odd (“the Game”, “the App”, “we”, “us”), developed by Muhammed Salih Karakaşlı / MSK-Software, handles information when you play the Game on iOS or Android.

Steep Odd is a mobile game. There is no separate email/password signup. You may optionally connect a Google Play Games or Apple Game Center account. By using the Game, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Summary

  • No traditional account registration — optional Google Play Games / Apple Game Center only.
  • Gameplay progress may sync via platform game services or Apple Game Cloud where enabled.
  • The Game may show Google ads and offer in-app purchases.
  • Purchases are handled via Apple / Google and RevenueCat.
  • We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand usage and fix crashes.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information we process

2.1 Gameplay and device data

When you play Steep Odd, the Game may process information needed to run the experience, such as game progress, settings, device type, OS version, language, time zone, and similar technical data stored on your device or with platform services.

2.2 Google Play Games (optional)

If you sign in with Google Play Games, Google may provide identifiers and profile information needed for achievements, leaderboards, saved games, or related Play Games features. This is optional and controlled through Google Play / your Google account. We do not receive your Google password. Google’s processing is also governed by Google’s privacy policy.

2.3 Apple Game Center and Apple Game Cloud (optional)

If you use Apple Game Center and/or Apple cloud game-save features, Apple may process Game Center identifiers, nicknames, friend lists (where applicable), achievements, leaderboards, and cloud-saved progress. This is optional and controlled through Apple / your Apple ID. We do not receive your Apple ID password. Apple’s processing is also governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

2.4 Advertising (Google Ads)

The Game may display ads served by Google advertising services (for example Google Mobile Ads / AdMob). Advertising partners may collect device or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, interaction data, and similar information to show, measure, and improve ads. You can limit ad tracking in your device settings where available. This processing is performed by Google under its own privacy policies.

2.5 In-app purchases (Apple, Google, and RevenueCat)

If you buy an in-app product or subscription, payment is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details.

We use RevenueCat to manage and restore purchase status across platforms. RevenueCat may process purchase tokens, product identifiers, anonymous or platform user identifiers, and entitlement status so premium content can be unlocked and restored. RevenueCat’s processing is also described in RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

2.6 Firebase Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the Game is used (for example sessions, feature usage, retention, and similar aggregated or event-level metrics). Firebase may process app-instance identifiers, device information, and in-game events. This helps us improve gameplay and performance. See Google’s Firebase / privacy documentation for more detail.

2.7 Firebase Crashlytics

We use Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and stability issues. Crash reports may include device state, stack traces, app version, and related diagnostic data. This information is used to fix bugs and improve reliability.

2.8 Support communications

If you contact us by email, we receive the address and message content you send so we can respond.

3. How we use information

Information is used to:

  • Operate and improve Steep Odd
  • Enable optional platform game accounts, cloud saves, achievements, and leaderboards
  • Show ads where enabled
  • Process, validate, and restore in-app purchases
  • Analyze usage and fix crashes
  • Respond to support requests
  • Protect against abuse and comply with legal obligations

4. Sharing of information

We may share limited information with:

  • Platforms and service providers: Apple, Google (Play Games, Ads, Firebase), and RevenueCat, as needed to run the Game, ads, analytics, crash reporting, and purchases
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
  • Business transfer: if the Game or related assets are transferred, information may move with them under appropriate protections

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data storage and security

Some data stays on your device; other data is processed by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or Firebase in their infrastructure. Those providers apply their own security controls. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting access to your device and any connected Google or Apple game accounts.

6. Data retention and deletion

Local game data typically remains until you clear app data or uninstall the Game. Cloud saves, Play Games / Game Center data, purchase records, analytics, and crash logs are retained according to the relevant platform’s rules and our operational needs (for example restoring purchases or debugging stability).

Because there is no separate Steep Odd account system, uninstalling the Game or disconnecting platform game services is the main way to stop local processing. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

7. Children’s privacy

Steep Odd is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through support channels, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. International users

The Game may be used in different countries. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Firebase may process data in other regions according to their policies and applicable law.

9. Your choices

  • Play without connecting Google Play Games or Apple Game Center
  • Manage or disconnect platform game accounts in device / store settings
  • Limit ad tracking in your device settings where available
  • Manage purchases and subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play
  • Uninstall the Game or clear app data
  • Contact us about privacy questions

10. Third-party policies

For more detail on partner processing, review the privacy policies of Apple, Google (including Play, Ads, and Firebase), and RevenueCat.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Game after an update means you accept the revised policy.
